ABSTRACT
Public transportations is a part of transportation system. It is significant because the bad condition of public transportation will decrease effectivity and efficiency of the whole transportation system. The public transportation is very important, because some part of society need it for their mobility. Since they cannot use private vehicle for some reasons including physical, legal, or financial. Therefore people depend on public transportation service.
This research evaluating the supply of public transportation by using parameters include highest demand segment, average load factor and break even point, to calculate the number of fleet needed, the goal of service as a load factor, headway, waiting time and traveling time. To choose the optimum parameter, it can be done by using AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) procedure which is a flexible model for decision making.
Base on this research, the result for route terminal Taman to terminal Sukodono (HA1) by using highest demand segment parameter is 28,43%, average load factor is 27,44%, and break even point parameter is 24,18%. For route terminal Sukodono-terminal Larangan (HA2), highest demand segment parameter is 27,99%, average load factor parameter is 26,56%, and break even point parameter is 24,96%.
